This is a general guide on how to refill your markers the process may differ slightly from marker to marker consult the manufacturer’s instructions if you’re unsure.
- Fill over a flat surface that’s covered in case of spillages.
- Remove the marker nib by pulling or unscrewing (depends on your marker)
- Stand marker on the flat surface
- Insert ink bottle nozzle into the marker body
- Squeeze ink bottle until nearly full
- Reattach marker nib
The above example is for markers with detachable tips and inks supplied in squeezy bottles.
Some marker inks will require application by pipette and some markers will need ink dripped directly onto the tip, again it depends on the marker you’re refiling.
